Tour Overview

The TBM Avenger is among the most popular aircraft at airshows, airport open houses, and fly-ins with its immense size (16 ft tall, 52 ft wide and 40 ft long - the largest single engine aircraft in WWII), hydraulically folding wings, operating bomb bay doors, simulated machine guns, and real radial engine sound. Our TBM is available for your event in the western region states from April through October. Winters are spent at our hangar and museum in Grand Junction, Colorado where we prepare for the next airshow season.

Our knowledgeable, friendly, and experienced crew guide the public on an easy-access "wing walk" which allow visitors to easily climb a short set of stairs to get on top of the wing where they get an outstanding view of the open pilot's cockpit and rear gunner's areas. A crew member is always on hand there to fully explain the incredible history of this WWII warbird, including its role during the famous Battle of Midway - the turning point of the Pacific Theater.

To partially offset our operating costs, a nominal appearance fee is requested. We also require fuel, hotel, and ground transportation arrangements.
