Driving to our HangarThe Rocky Mountain Wing of the Commemorative Air Force is located at Walker Field Airport (GJT) at the northwest end of Horizon Drive in Grand Junction, Colorado. Exit north off I-70 onto Horizon Drive. Go 1/2 mile north to airport entrance noted traffic circle. Make the first right turn, eastbound, which turns to the north becoming Eagle Rd. Then turn right, eastbound on Navigator Way. Continue 100 yds to Heritage Way and turn left, northbound. The CAF building is on the right at 780 Heritage Way. All distances from airport entrance are very short, just a series of right, right, left. If flying in just ask for progressive taxi directions to CAF hangar. The RMW facility and aircraft are open for public display every Saturday and by appointment. Groups are encouraged to visit.
