CAF Cadet Program OverviewCadet membership is available to those 13 years and older, and can be retained as such to age 23 if still a full-time student. Cadets can participate in all activities including flying in CAF aircraft. Cadets can not vote on issues and must have parental approval if under 18, including approval on activities such as flying and traveling to air shows.CAF National Cadet Membership is $45 per year, with no additional unit dues required.
