The Mile High Wing is a local unit of the organization known as the Commemorative Air Force.

   Southern California Wing, Camarillo
Home of: C-46, F8F, F6F, C-131, Zero, SNJ, B-25 and great museum displays

   UTAH Wing, CAF Salt Lake City
The Utah Wing was formed in the mid-1980s with its first aircraft, a Boeing PT-17/N2S Stearman. The wing has also acquired a Beech C-45 Expeditor. Individual members of the Utah CAF also have some notable aircraft such as a Lockheed PV-2 Harpoon, a Stinson L-5 Sentinel, Nanchang CJ-6, and an Engineering & Research 415 Aerocoupe.

This site is dedicated to the USS Shipley Bay (CVE-85) Casablanca Class Escort Carrier and everyone associated with her during World War II. This site includes original 16mm film footage taken aboard this ship documenting TBM takeoffs and landings while providing air support for the battle of Okinawa during WWII. Contributions to this site have been made by sailors, airmen, historians and veteran family members. Items from their collections are included throughout this site and are a tribute to the USS Shipley Bay history and all of those who participated in the World War II effort.

WWII Radios

   ARB RECEIVER (CRV-46151)
The ARB was designed for the US Navy and was intended to be used with the ATB transmitter, which was a similar size and produced 25 watts. It covered the frequency range 195 kcs to 9050 kcs in four bands.
